Following the weak dollar hysteria I ended up buying two items on eBay - starting from .ch, but buying on .com, which makes me real example of the above described trend.
I am not your average eBay buyer - I am suspicious and picky, I want new items only and high quality, please. Seller-from-pet-and-smoke-free-home is selbstverstaendlich. I do not shop for fun, I shop to satisfy concrete need with concrete product. Call me a buyer from hell, I can take it.
And guess what - I am totally satisfied with my purchases. The seller did ship for 10$, the cardigans are brand new (with original price tag) and from US label which do not export to Switzerland.
So the items are unique - a sort of. On the top of that they arrived within a week after my bid.
Payed with PayPal. People tend to complain about PayPal (expensive! confusing!), but guess what - it does work great. And I am OK paying for reliable service provided 24/7 at my fingertips.
So, thanks eBay(ves)! It's a pleasure doing business with you :)!
